Obayashi Sacred Heart School

On top of Obayashi’s green hill, there is a spire from which gentle sounds of the Angelus can be heard and the school buildings which carry all its history give calm serenity to those who come up the school slope.
Approximately 1300 students ranging from 6 to 18 years of age are spending their school life fully supporting each other and looking at the infinite possibilities for their future.
The school motto which the first Headmistress Mother Mayer left is ‘Big You, small i(I)’. This has been deeply rooted in the students and alumnae, and our students are learning the joy of serving others through programmes such as volunteer work and overseas experiences. From the very beginning of the foundation, English study was stressed in order to cultivate ‘internationality’ which has allowed our students to develop the ability to think globally.
